Varicose Veins
Venous disease is a common problem nowadays. In varicose veins the valves inside the veins are incompetent, making the veins non-functional and no longer contributing to the circulation of the leg.
02Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms (AAA)
An Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm is a localised widening of the main artery (aorta) in your abdomen. A normal aorta is up to 3cm in diameter.
03Carotid Disease
People who have atherosclerosis (calcifications) of the carotid arteries can get a stroke or TIA.
04Intermittent Claudication
This is a symptom that describes muscle pain on mild exertion (ache, cramp, numbness or sense of fatigue), classically in the calf muscle, which occurs during exercise, such as walking, and is relieved by a short period of rest.
